Three reasons for a stationary storage…

Peak load capping

The memory is loaded slowly. If load peaks occur, the temporarily stored energy is taken from the battery storage – the power charge drops considerably.

Self-consumption optimization

The storage unit is charged with solar energy via the PV system and can then be used with a time delay to charge various consumers (including forklifts). This enables the optimal use of self-produced energy and increases independence from the power grid.

Avoidance of network expansion

The storage tank is slowly charged during the day via the grid or with the energy from the PV system. In case of high energy demand (e.g. intermediate charging of lithium-ion forklift batteries), the temporarily stored energy is used. The max. mains connection power is complied with. A potentially necessary, expensive network expansion can thus be avoided!
