In the cold storage environment of a logistics warehouse for the retail food trade, the industrial truck batteries have been exposed to considerable temperature jumps in the past. Move loads at -25°C, load at room temperature. Corrosion damage was a regular consequence. The innovative solution based on Li-Ion technology not only avoided such side effects, but also created freedom in the planning of new buildings in the future.

Top performance through heating in cold storage

A potato product processing plant was looking for a solution to increase the performance of its forklifts, which must perform at -28°C. The lead-acid batteries used until now only withstood these conditions for two years. The switch to lithium-ion systems brought a whole series of advantages.

On the road on behalf of the Lord

Renovation work has to be carried out in a church with the help of an elevating work platform. During the static calculation, it turns out that a particularly light device is needed with an unchanged long range. A special solution must be found.
